Brambly Entangle (Recharge 5-6). The Thornbriar sends out thorny brambles in a 10-foot radius. Each creature in the area must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or be restrained by the brambles for 1 minute. A creature restrained by the brambles can use its action to make a DC 12 Strength check, freeing itself on a success.

Description

The Blighted Thornbriar is a horrifying amalgamation of plant life and blighted corruption, a once-innocent shrub now twisted into a deadly predator. Its gnarled, darkened vines pulse with sickly energy, writhing as if alive, ready to lash out at anything that strays too close. The barbed thorns lining its body drip with infectious ichor, ensuring that every wound it inflicts carries the creeping taint of the Blighted Scourge.

Despite its monstrous nature, the Blighted Thornbriar retains the deceptive stillness of an ordinary plant. When motionless, it is nearly indistinguishable from a patch of thorny overgrowth, waiting in ambush for its next victim. Unwary travelers might find themselves ensnared in its living brambles, their flesh pierced by its venomous vines before they even realize the danger.
