Hive Mind. The Blighted Giant Desert Lizard shares a hive mentality with other Blighted creatures, allowing them to coordinate attacks. If one Blighted creature is aware of a hostile creature, all others in the hive mind are also aware.
Blighted Scourge. Natural weapon attacks by the Blighted Giant Desert Lizard can infect creatures with the Blighted Scourge. A creature hit by the Blighted Giant Desert Lizard’s attack must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or contract the Blighted Scourge.
Sand Camouflage. The Blighted Giant Desert Lizard has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in sandy terrain.
Multiattack. The Blighted Giant Desert Lizard makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its blighted breath.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d10 + 4) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or be infected with the Blighted Scourge.
Blighted Breath (Recharge 5-6). The Blighted Giant Desert Lizard exhales a 30-foot cone of blighted energy. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 27 (6d8) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Creatures that fail the save are also infected with the Blighted Scourge.
Description
A massive desert predator, its cracked, blighted scales pulse with malevolent energy. Its glowing eyes and jagged black veins mark it as a corrupted force lurking beneath the sands.
