Description
This species of dragon are only distantly related to true red dragons, despite their name. They live in deserts, plains, forests, or similar locations nearby humanoid settlements, so that they may have a chance to test out their abilities when grown. Their scales are a dull crimson, with horns that come in any part of the light to dark spectrum, with some horns being as black as obsidian, while others are as white as a pearl. The horns of male dragons stick out straight, extending behind their heads, while those of females curve downward, sometimes below the jawline. These dragons enjoy playing with their food before the kill, but they will only eat and kill something that has been trapped in some way. Because of this, some siegelocker dragons lurk on the outskirts of the territories of legendary true green dragons that they have made an alliance with. As long as the siegelocker brings the green dragon treasure and suitable slaves, the green will uses its regional effects, and possibly even lair actions to stumble and trap the siegelocker's running prey.
