Hive Mind. The Blighted Raptor Pack Leader shares a hive mentality with other Blighted creatures, allowing them to coordinate attacks. If one Blighted creature is aware of a hostile creature, all others in the hive mind are also aware.
Blighted Scourge. Natural weapon attacks by the Blighted Raptor Pack Leader can infect creatures with the Blighted Scourge. A creature hit by the Raptor’s attack must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or contract the Blighted Scourge.
Pack Tactics. The Blighted Raptor Pack Leader has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the Raptor’s allies is within 5 feet of the creature and isn’t incapacitated.
Multiattack. The Blighted Raptor Pack Leader makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be infected with the Blighted Scourge.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage
Leader’s Call (1/Day). As a bonus action, the Blighted Raptor Pack Leader can emit a high-pitched call that rallies nearby Blighted creatures. Each allied Blighted creature within 30 feet can make an immediate melee attack as a reaction.
Description
A terrifying predator, the Blighted Raptor Pack Leader is the corrupted alpha of a Blighted hunting pack. Once a swift and cunning hunter, it has been twisted by the influence of the Blighted energy, its form now warped with unnatural tendrils of corruption pulsing through its sinewy frame. Its sharp talons and serrated fangs drip with the infectious essence of the Blight, ready to spread the affliction with every attack.
Unlike lesser Blighted Raptors, the Pack Leader retains a semblance of tactical awareness, coordinating its brood with eerie precision. It moves like a shadow, its movements silent but deliberate, striking fear into its prey before unleashing a flurry of savage attacks. The once-bright eyes of this predator now glow with an otherworldly hue, devoid of life, yet filled with a hunger driven by the Blighted Hive Mind. Wherever it treads, it leaves behind the remnants of former victims, their bodies overtaken by the same corrupting force that now commands it.
