Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Valitrous fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.
Fay/Abyssal Deity. Valitrous's melee attacks count as magical.
Trampling Charge. If Valitrous moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a hooves attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 24 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Metamagic. Valitrous is an adept sorcerer with the ability to alter his spells in the following ways:
- Quickened Spell(3/day).When Valitrous casts a spell that has a casting time of 1 action he may change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting.

Heightened Spell(2/day).When Valitrous casts a spell that forces a creature to make a saving throw, he can give one target of the spell disadvantage on its first saving throw made against the spell.
- Empowered Spell(4/day).When Valitrous rolls damage for a spell, he can reroll up to 10 of the dice. He must use the new rolls and he can use this option even if he already used another Metamagic option.
Multiattack. Valitrous makes 4 attacks, 2 with his hooves and 1 with his tail and bite, or casts a Spell.
Hooves. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 10 ft., 5 ft radius. Hit: 26 (6d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 20 ft., 5 ft radius. Hit: 32 (6d8 + 8) slashing damage.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 38 (6d10 + 8) piercing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 24). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and Valitrous can't bite another target.
Bellowing Roar(Recharge 6). Valitrous exhales a torrent of breath imbued with the message "FLEE MORTALS!" in a 90-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 26 Wisdom saving throw or take 40 (8d10) thunder damage, is pushed 40ft back, and gains the frightened condition until the end of there next turn. Each creature that makes the save takes half damage, is pushed back 20ft, and isn't frightened.
Innate Spellcasting. Valitrous casts one of the following spells, requiring no material components and using Charisma as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 26).
At will(up to 6th level):Dissonant Whispers, Magnify Gravity, Mind Whip, Blight.
1/day each(up to 9th level): feeblemind, finger of death, mass suggestion, Psychic Scream.
2/day each(up to 5th level): Hex, Misty Step.
3/day each(up to 7th level): Counterspell, Hellish Rebuke.
Valitrous can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Valitrous regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.
Attack. Valitrous makes a melee attack.
Cast a Spell (Costs 2 Actions). Valitrous casts one of his innate spells.
Regeneration (Costs 2 Actions 3/day). Valitrous triggers his healing for 60 (10d12) points.
Shifting Nightmare (Costs 3 Actions). Valitrous rapidly takes the form of several nightmarish creatures, lashing out at all nearby. Each creature within 20 feet of Valitrous must succeed on a DC 26 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened and take 25 (5d10) damage of a type chosen by Valitrous: Psychic or necrotic.
