Blighted Goblin Shark

Hive Mind. The Blighted Goblin Shark shares a telepathic connection with other Blighted creatures. If one Blighted creature is aware of a hostile creature, all in the hive mind are also aware.

Blighted Scourge. Natural weapon attacks by the Blighted Goblin Shark carry the Blighted Scourge infection. A creature hit by the shark's attacks must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or contract the Blighted Scourge.

Keen Smell. The Blighted Goblin Shark has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Ambush Hunter. The Blighted Goblin Shark has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it surprises.

Terrifying Maw. Any creature that sees the Blighted Goblin Shark’s unhinging jaw must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature is immune to this effect for 24 hours.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (4d8 + 5) piercing damage. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or contract the Blighted Scourge.

Blighted Feeding Frenzy (Recharge 5–6). The Blighted Goblin Shark releases a burst of blighted energy, instigating a frenzied state. Each creature within 15 feet must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 22 (4d10) blighted energy damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures that fail the saving throw also advance one stage in the Blighted Scourge infection.
