Hive Mind. The Blighted Whale shares a telepathic connection with other Blighted creatures. If one Blighted creature is aware of a hostile creature, all in the hive mind are also aware.
Blighted Scourge. Natural weapon attacks by the Blighted Whale carry the Blighted Scourge infection. A creature hit by the whale's attacks must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or contract the Blighted Scourge.
Enhanced Blighted Echo. The Blighted Whale emits a low-frequency blighted echo as a 20-foot radius aura. Creatures that start their turn within the aura must make a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or take 14 (4d6) blighted energy damage and have disadvantage on their next attack roll. Blighted creatures are immune to this effect.
Multiattack. The Blighted Whale makes two Tail attacks.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 25 (3d12 + 7) bludgeoning damage. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Constitution saving throw or contract the Blighted Scourge.
Blighted Wave (Recharge 5–6). The Blighted Whale releases a powerful wave of blighted energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 33 (6d10) blighted energy damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures that fail the saving throw also advance one stage in the Blighted Scourge infection.
Description
The Blighted Whale is a terrifying colossus of the deep, its once-majestic form now a decayed husk of corruption. Its massive body is covered in blackened, cracked skin, pulsating with blighted veins that seep a dark, malevolent energy into the surrounding water. Hollow, glowing eyes betray the creature’s complete submission to the hive mind, its movements no longer its own but dictated by the will of the Blighted Scourge. Blighted growths and barnacles encrust its body, further distorting its grotesque appearance. The water around it churns with the taint of its presence, turning the ocean into a vast abyss of despair. It is a harbinger of doom for any who venture into its domain, spreading the corruption of the Blighted Scourge with every wave it creates.
