Description
A Shade is a large collection of powerful and evil spirits that have gained complete control of a spellcasters body, forming this terrifying creature. They can be formed either by the spirits summoned by the spellcaster were too strong for them and have forcefully taken over, a spellcaster can also willingly surrender himself to spirits in order to create a Shade. The original spellcaster is still somewhere deep in their mind but locked away, it is impossible to convert a Shade back into the being it once was. The dark spirits all form together into one singular mind which the Shade names itself with. All knowledge from every spirit that is part of the being is condensed and can be accessed by the Shade at any time.
Each Shade is usually made up of a minimum of three-hundred spirits, and there is no such thing as a good Shade since only the darkest of spirits are powerful and ambitious enough to form together in this way. Shades are masters of Magic due to the large amount of spellcasters within them and their physical strength, reflexes, speed and resistance are greatly enhanced. Shades have a wide range of spellcasters spirits making them up but they can only use Warlock spells due to Warlocks being the most ambitious and therefore most dominant spirits. The only way to kill a Shade is to pierce it through the heart, then all the spirits disband and are released.
