Traits

Paragon Fortitude. The goblin has multiple pools of hit points (39/39/39), each of which is tracked separately. All damage and healing must be completely applied to only one pool. When a pool is reduced to zero, all ongoing conditions and effects affecting the creature end. Once a pool is reduced to zero, that pool cannot receive any healing until after a long rest. If all hit point pools are reduced to zero, the creature is killed.

Paragon Fury. The goblin rolls initiative with advantage. It starts with zero paragon actions. If a hit point pool is depleted, it gains one paragon action. It may use a paragon action after any other creature takes a turn. If it does so, they regain their reaction. A paragon action is a complete turn. They have an action, bonus action and may move up to their full speed. The paragon actions refresh at the start of the creature's turn and any remaining actions from the previous turn are lost.

Actions

Multiattack. 3 Hit Point Pools: The goblin makes two attacks with its big club. The second attack has disadvantage. 2 Hit Point Pools: The goblin makes two attacks with either its big club or bramble whip. The second attack has disadvantage. 1 Hit Point Pool: The second attack the goblin makes does not have disadvantage.

Big Club. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.

Bramble Whip. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 +3) piercing damage.

Bonus Actions

Twilight Mirage. The goblin can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of its turns.

Reactions

Twilight Sense. When a creature the goblin can see targets it with an attack, the goblin chooses another goblin within 5 feet of it. The two goblins swap places, and the chosen goblin becomes the target instead.

Description

The Big Forest Goblin is a twisted mutation of a goblinoid. It has soaked in the powers of the twilight blight, a strange force that has overwhelmed a portion of the Goblinstalk Woods. This goblin has been restrained for its own good, taking its arm and wrapping it in thick material to prevent the goblin from using its embedded bramble to harm other goblinoids, or itself. As the Big Forest Goblin is weakened, so does the material on its arm. Over time, the bramble is loosened, the whips are available for its use, before finally the second arm that is entrapped in the bramble becomes free as well.
