Description
The Arcane Overlord stands as one of the highest-ranking spellcasters within the Scourged Order, a living font of Blighted magic capable of reshaping reality with their terrifying mastery of corrupt arcana. Cloaked in robes woven from pure Blighted essence, they are nearly impervious to magical attacks, and their connection to the Hivemind grants them near-limitless magical power.
Unlike lesser mages, an Arcane Overlord does not merely cast spells; they bend the battlefield to their will. Their Blighted Barrier covers entire war zones, turning them into pits of suffering where only the Blighted may thrive. Their spells include Chain Lightning, Finger of Death, and Power Word Kill, capable of eliminating even the most powerful adversaries in mere moments.
With Legendary Actions at their disposal, they are never defenseless. They can absorb energy to shield themselves, unleash waves of Blighted energy, or even teleport across the battlefield, ensuring that they remain untouchable unless completely overwhelmed.
The presence of an Arcane Overlord in battle is a sign of impending catastrophe—when they arrive, the land itself twists and darkens under their influence. Their very existence is an affront to nature, as they seek to drown the world in the Hivemind’s corruption.
