Traits

Adhesive Roots. The blight flower has advantage on saving throw to resist being moved it and knocked prone. The blight flower can also climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Blighted Aura. The blight flower's blight pulse has it's DC, and the number of d6s rolled for both the Hit Points restored and the necrotic damage delt each increase by 1 for each additional blight flower within 15 feet of it.

Actions

Blight Pulse. The blight flower opens briefly, releasing a wave of corrupted energy in a 15-foot sphere. All non-blight creatures in that area must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 3 (1d6) necrotic damage on a failed save, and half as much on a successful one.

A blight creature (including the blight flower itself) instead gains 3 (1d6) Hit Points.

A plant creature reduced to 0 Hit Points by this damage rises as a Blight after 1 Hour, as a Twig Blight if Small or smaller, a Needle Blight or Vine Blight if Medium, or a Tree Blight if Large or larger.

Description

A blight flower is grown by corrupt druids and green hags to spread and reinforce the corruption of life in a certain area. It is a near stationary plant that resembles a large bloated vine covered in warts and blisters that leaks a sticky blood-like adhesive sap, atop of which sits a large glowing red flower, often closed and pulsing with energy. It can open that flower and release that energy to damage the surrounding creatures and heal it's fellow corrupted plants.

It is covered in small clusters of twisted roots, which it uses in combination with it's serpentine body to move around either like a disturbing thrashing snake or a millipede. They are also often wrapped around a dead tree, or another larger blight for mobility. It is advised to take them out as soon as possible, or watch them undo the damage you've done to the other blights guarding them.
