Description

The huge arctic bearachnid combines the ferocity of a polar bear with the dexterity, poisonous bite, number of legs, and webbing of a giant spider. The jowls of a bearachnid extend down like mandibles. The front legs are fairly typical of bears, but the back three sets, though still bear-like, are longer and more segmented. The bearachnid is known to rear up its front two legs to attack while further attacking with its other legs to devastating effect. Unlike both spiders and bears, the bearachnid travels in packs of about six or seven, often including both one that serves as a scout and a monstrously gargantuan guardian bearachnid serving as protector.
