Legendary Resistance (8/Day). If Mahoraga fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead. It still gains the benefit of its Eight-Handled Wheel feature.
Conditional Adaptation. When Mahoraga gains a condition, it recovers from that condition at the end of its next turn, and will become immune to that condition at the same rate as in Eight-Handled Wheel for 1 hour.
Any and all Phenomenon. After being subjected to any type of damage once, mentioned type it is unable to bring him to 0 hitpoints.
Defensive Adaptation. Each time Mahoraga is hit with an attack or spell, he adds +2 to his AC or +5 to his Saving Throw against said attack or spell type damage specifically.
Offensive [Melee] Adaptation. When Mahoraga makes an attack against an opponent, he gains +3 to hit for every attack he makes, regardless if it hits or not, and and 8 additional damage die for every attack he does deal damage on. Additionally, if a hit deals no damage or half damage due to an immunity, on the third attack it drops to resistance, and fifth attack down to zero resistance. In the case of resistance, on the third attack made, their defense against Mahoraga is nullified.
Offensive [Magic] Adaptation. When Mahoraga makes an attack and it misses due to a spell but still beating the AC, the wheel spins. During the third instance of missing an attack due to a spell but still beating the AC, he instead hits but does half damage. On the fifth instance, he deals damage in full instead. Additionally, if it is equipment that deflects any of Mahoragas attacks, it is fully nullified by beginning of his next turn.
Eight-Handled Wheel. When Mahoraga takes damage, the wheel on the top of its head spins. At the beginning of his 4th turn after that, Mahoraga will adapt and will gain immunity to that type of damage for an hour. If he receives damage from that same type again during this period, it will be reduced by 1 turn (so from beginning of the 4th turn to 3rd > 2nd > next turn); when Mahoraga is 2 turns away from adapting to a type of damage he becomes resistant to it. Each type of damage will have a different counting, and Mahoraga may only adapt to a single type of damage at a time if two damage types are hitting him at once.
Obstacle Adaptation. Mahoraga's ability to adapt to all phenomena, as it implies, extends to all phenomena. If Mahoraga encounters an obstacle such as a barrier it can't trespass, or a special type of attack or spell used against it, it will start adapting to such as described in Eight-Handled Wheel, eventually adapting to it, be it by jumping up to the target in spite of movement, ignoring barriers, becoming immune to a specific ability, spell or effect or any other way to do so as decided by the DM (This cannot result in increases to stats, armor class, movement speed, or new forms of movement).
Siege Monster. Mahoraga deals twice as much damage to objects and structures.
Ten Shadows. Mahoraga was made of the Ten Shadows cursed technique, therefore he may meld into shadows as a bonus action or reaction.
Magic Weapons. The Mahoraga's weapon attacks are magical.
Cursed Energy Regeneration. The Mahoraga regains all hit points at the start of its turn if it has at least 1 hit point.
Last Resort. If the summoner of Mahoraga summons him while others are present, Mahoraga cannot be unsummoned unless all present during the summoning were killed or he is killed himself.
Multiattack. Mahoraga makes six attacks.
Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +50 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 84 (12d12+20) bludgeoning damage.
Sword of Extermination. Melee Weapon Attack: +40 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 150 (20d12+10) slashing / piercing damage. This damage's dice are quadrupled and it's type is changed to radiant when used against Cursed Spirits, Demons, Undead and Nightmare. (This weapon can dispel techniques and spells that Mahoraga has completely adapted to by making an attack them (i.e. the barrier of a domain he has adapted to)).
Air Cannon. Recharge (5-6). Ranged Attack: +40 to hit, range 60/240 ft., 1 target. Hit: 206 (30d12 + 50) force damage.
Eight-Handled Wheel. During the next turn, for every instance where Mahoraga takes damage, the wheel on the top of its head spins twice as fast and reduces the period of adapting to that type of damage. If it still hasn't begun to adapt to this type of damage, it will start the adaptation immediately after the first hit (1 hit to resist, 2 hits to become immune). Mahoraga then makes one additional melee weapon attack against the attacker if it is within reach.
Heavy Offensive. Mahoraga may make an additional 4 attack actions against his opponent.
Eight-Handled Wheel. When Mahoraga takes damage, the wheel on the top of its head spins and it reduces the period of adapting to that type of damage by 1 turn. If it still hasn't begun to adapt to this type of damage, it will start the adaptation with 1 turn already counted. Mahoraga then makes one melee weapon attack against the attacker if it is within reach.
General's Protection. When Mahoraga's master is within 5 ft. of it and is targeted by a melee weapon attack, it rushes towards them and guards them, taking the hit for them.
Resisting Adaptation. When Mahoraga is hit with an attack it is currently adapting to, it may spend its reaction to impose disadvantage against the attack hitting it. If it is a saving throw, Mahoraga may roll with advantage.
Quickened Adaptation. When Mahoraga is subjected to one instance of large damage, he may sacrifice one immunity to temporarily gain immunity to the type of damage that is dealt to him. He loses the original immunity, and loses the newly gained immunity after taking the hit, however the wheel does spin once for this new type of damage.
Dispelling Slash. When Mahoraga is targeted by an attack or saving throw from a technique it is completely adapted to, it may spend its reaction to roll an attack roll against the triggering effect and dispel the technique if it rolls equal to or higher than the casters cursed dc.
Ten Shadows. When subjected to any attack, Mahoraga may meld into the shadows on the floor, taking 0 damage and procting no opportunity attack, essentially becoming a part of the etherial realm.
Regeneration. When receiving damage from any source, Mahoraga may regain hit points equal to half it's regeneration feature.
The Mahoraga can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Mahoraga regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
(1) Attack. Mahoraga makes two Sword of Extermination attack.
(1) Move. Mahoraga moves up to its movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
(1) Regeneration. Mahoraga regains a number of hit points equal to it's regeneration feature.
(2) Rushed Adaptation. Mahoraga gains resistance to one type of damage until the end of its next turn. If he already has resistance, it is now an immunity.
Mahoraga regains 1 Mythic Point per turn passed.
Slash that Cuts the World (Costs 10 Points). Requires that 10 rounds have passed since the start of Combat. The Slash that Cuts the World is rolled with advantage, a magical attack dealing 50,792 (1000d100) slashing damage that cannot be nullified (unless through Toon Force). After being used once, Mahoraga must wait another 10 rounds to use it again, however it may bypass the Toon Force upon its second use, as Mahoraga will have adapted to it.
Description
Mahoraga is the most uncontrollable shikigami in the history of the Ten Shadows Technique. It has never been tamed or commanded like other familiars in the history of the entire Zenin Family. However, users of the Ten Shadows Technique can summon it via an exorcism ritual in an attempt to exorcise it at any time. The shikigami itself is a towering, muscular humanoid figure with four wings protruding from its eye sockets and a tail-like appendage extending from the back of its head. Hovering just above this is a large eight-handled wheel that rotates as Mahoraga responds to new stimuli. Furu's Incantation of the Ten Sacred Treasures and this wheel represent a complete cycle and harmony. Mahoraga also sports black hakama bottoms and a white sash around its waist to cover most of its lower body.
Sword of Extermination. Mahoraga's main weapon is a long, double-edged blade coated in positive energy, similar to reverse cursed energy. This makes the Sword of Extermination a natural enemy to cursed spirits. Its positive energy can easily compromise bodies composed entirely of cursed energy. The overall advantage gained by the user is comparable to the power of a special grade cursed tool.
Tamed Features. If Mahoraga is tamed, it gains a second reaction.
