Inevitable Death (Aura).
Alita emits an aura of dread within 30 feet. Creatures in the aura feel an overwhelming sense of despair and futility. Any creature that enters this radius must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw at the start of their turn or become Frightened until the start of their next turn. If they succeed, they are immune to this effect for 24 hours.
A fear price [sic].
Upon being summoned, Alita designates the summoner or the horn’s bearer as her target. Until the target is reduced to 0 hit points:
- Alita has advantage on attack rolls against the target.
- Alita deals double damage to the target.
- Alita takes half damage from all other creatures.
Sadistic Arbiter.
When Alita kills a creature, she regains 10 hit points and reduces the recharge time of her abilities by 1 round. The shadows around her writhe, and ghostly figures are pulled into her aura as if claiming their souls.
Multiattack.
Alita makes three attacks with her Blade of Slaughter.
Action Melee Attack. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target.
Hit: 20 ([roll]3d8+4[/roll]) slashing damage plus 5 ([roll]1d10[/roll] necrotic damage. If targeting the summoner, this damage is doubled.
Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target.
Hit: 14 ([roll]2d8+5[/roll]) piercing damage plus 9 ([roll]1d8+5[/roll])) fire damage. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be pushed 10 feet away and knocked prone as the force of the attack crushes them.
Whirlwind of the Damned (Recharge 5–6).
Shadows coalesce into a howling storm of tortured souls in a 15-foot radius around Alita. Each creature in the area must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, they take 27 ([roll]6d10[/roll]) psychic damage and are Frightened until the end of their next turn. A creature that is Frightened in this way also sees horrifying specters and suffers disadvantage on its next attack roll or ability check. On a success, they take half damage and are not Frightened.
Rend the Earth (Recharge 3).
Alita drives her blade into the ground, sending veins of jagged, burning fissures outward in a 30-foot line that is 10 feet wide. Each creature in the line must make a DC 16 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 18 ([roll]4d8[/roll])) slashing damage and is pushed 10 feet away. The affected area becomes difficult terrain as the ground cracks and shifts. Structures and objects in the line take double damage.
Relentless Pursuit: Alita takes the Dash action, but while doing so, she can move through creatures’ spaces as if they were difficult terrain. If she ends her movement within 10 feet of a creature, she can impose disadvantage on its next opportunity attack against her until the start of her next turn.
Shadows ripple unnaturally as Alita glides forward, her movement eerily smooth and silent, as though gravity itself cannot hold her.
Shadow Step: Alita teleports up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space she can see. If she teleports adjacent to a creature, her next attack against that creature this turn has advantage.
Alita teleports through the shadows, reappearing in a flash of darkness to strike her prey.
Shield of the damned (3/day):
When Alita is hit by an attack, she can use her reaction to add +5 to her AC against that attack, potentially causing it to miss. If the attack misses, the attacker must make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become Frightened of Alita until the end of their next turn.
"As your weapon arcs toward her, a shadowy barrier materializes with a resounding clang, formed of anguished faces screaming in silence. Her cold gaze meets yours, and a wave of despair washes over you, freezing your blood as the barrier fades."
