Emboldening death. When the ancient warrior dies, it may choose another ancient warrior within 100ft of it, that ancient warrior gains an extra attack, this stacks if the ancient warrior dying already has been emboldened.
Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the ancient warrior to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the ancient warrior drops to 1 hit point instead.
Turning Defiance. The ancient warrior and any undead within 30 feet of it have advantage on saving throws against effects that turn undead.
Stench. Any creature that starts its turn within 5 feet of the ancient warrior must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of its next turn. On a successful saving throw, the creature is immune to the ancient warriors Stench for 24 hours.
Multiattack. the ancient warrior may make two macuahuitl attacks.
Macuahuitl. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: # (1d10 + 5) [slashing] damage. This attack is made at advantage against unarmored and lightly armored targets.
Death Whistle. the ancient warrior blows into a whistle that sounds like a blood curtailing screen, all targets within 50ft must make a DC 14 wisdom save or become frightened. The target may repeat this saving throw at the start of their turn. (Once per long rest)
Description
An undead warrior clad in ancient battle attire, there skin rots as their reanimated corpses lie waiting for the next intruder.
These strange creatures are often created by warlocks who choose great warriors to server as body guards to ancient hordes of wealth or powerful magic items. Some have even been known to be used by litches as guards to their temples.
