Traits

Intervention. An Interviner has 5 uses of "intervention", which acts as a sort of fuel used in the Interviner's attacks and abilities. They regain all expended uses on a long rest, and regain 1d3 expended uses whenever they roll initiative. The Interviner has a list of reactions, and the Interviner can use them one additional time between turns at the cost of an intervention-- but only once between turns.

Prophetic Agility. The Interviner uses their prophetic visions to warn them of incoming attacks, and thus they add their wisdom modifier to their armor class, as they can dodge attacks easier.

Actions

Thread Dart. Ranged Spell Attack: +6 to hit, range 50/90 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) force damage.

Share Insight (costs one intervention). The Interviner shares prophetic insight with an ally within 5 ft, allowing them to reroll any die, even after it is said that it will fail. This effect lasts for one minute, until the target rerolls three total dice during the duration, or until the Interviner uses this action again– even on a different target.

Reactions

Counter. The Interviner causes a ranged or melee weapon attack targeting themselves or an ally within 5 ft to miss.

Improvised Counterspell (recharge 5-6). In reaction to seeing a spellcaster prepare a spell, the Interviner can use their Thread Dart attack targeting the spellcaster. If the attack hits, this prevents the target from casting the spell, just as in the counterspell spell.

Description

When the future seeing Blue-Eyed tribe must change their prophesied fate, they send Interviners. These blindfolded warriors use their future vision to enhance them and their allies might on the battlefield.
