Traits

Consuming Maw. The Avatar of Gluttony gains temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt whenever it reduces a creature to 0 hit points.

Gluttonous Resilience. The Avatar of Gluttony has advantage on saving throws against being grappled or restrained.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the creature fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Actions

Multiattack: The Avatar of Gluttony makes two attacks with Bite and one attack with Devour.

Bite: Melee Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d12 + 4) piercing damage. The Avatar of Gluttony regains hit points equal to half the damage dealt.

Devour: Melee Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one incapacitated creature. Hit: 30 (4d12 + 4) slashing damage. The creature must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or become Grappled (escape DC 19). On a failed escape, the creature takes additional 18 (4d8) necrotic damage at the start of its turn as it is consumed.

Gluttonous Surge: The Avatar of Gluttony unleashes a wave of insatiable hunger in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or take 33 (7d10) necrotic damage or half as much on a successful save. Creatures that fail the save also gain 1 point of exhaustion until they consume food or regain hit points.

Legendary Actions

The monster can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The monster regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Insatiable Hunger (Costs 1 Action): The Avatar of Gluttony can move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks, seamlessly flowing through enemies to reach its next target.

Consume (Costs 2 Actions): The Avatar of Gluttony can choose to use Gluttonous Surge.

Satiate (Costs 3 Actions): The Avatar of Gluttony can make a single Bite attack. If it hits, the target must make a DC 18 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target's speed is halved until the end of its next turn, and the Avatar of Gluttony regains hit points equal to the damage dealt.
