Insatiable Hunger. If the Wendigo has fed on a corpse within the last 24 hours, it gains advantage on attack rolls and saving throws against being frightened until the next Short Rest.
Magic Resistance. The Wendigo has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Foul Aura. The Wendigo’s body constantly exudes a foul odor, reminiscent of rot and decay. Creatures that start their turn within 5 feet of the Wendigo must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 16) or suffer disadvantage on attack rolls until the end of their next turn.
Multiattack. The Wendigo makes three melee attacks using its claws.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 3) slashing damage. If at least two claw attacks hit the same creature in one turn, the creature takes an additional 9 (2d8) slashing damage as the Wendigo rends the flesh.
Flesh Feast. The Wendigo feeds on the flesh of a recently deceased corpse that it has not previously fed on already. It magically regains 2d10 + 4 Hit Points.
Mimicry. The Wendigo can mimic animal sounds and humanoid voices. A creature that hears the sounds can tell they are imitations with a successful DC 16 Wisdom (Insight) check.
Description
The Wendigo prefers to stalk its prey for hours or even days, mimicking familiar voices to lure its victims into isolation. Once it has chosen a target, it strikes with terrifying speed, relying on its claws and overwhelming hunger to tear its prey apart.
