Death Burst. When the vampbanana dies, it explodes. Each creature within 5 ft must succeed on a DC 11 Dexterity saving throw or be blinded from the blast of peanut butter. An affected creature can end the effect itself by taking an action to wipe the peanut butter from its eyes.

Eye Ray. The vampbanana shoots one of the following magical eyes at random, choosing a target it can see within 60 feet of it:

  1. Intimidating Ray. The targeted creature must succeed on a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 3 rounds.
  2. Charming Ray. The targeted creature must succeed on a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed for 3 rounds.
  3. Foobie Bletch Ray. The targeted creature must succeed on a DC 11 Charisma saving throw or loudly yell "foobie bletch", a nonsensical statement that causes that creature's companions to look at them in confusion.

Description

The horrifying and lethal vampbanana is spoken of only in whispers, so fearful is its reputation. The few survivors of vampbanana attacks are reluctant to speak of their encounter, and they often have nightmares of these evil abominations. They are dangerous due to their powerful melee attacks and their eye rays, as well as their ability to fly when they are badly injured, able to use their peel as wings.
