Traits

Void Conduit. Whenever the Voidcaller deals necrotic damage, it regains hit points equal to half the necrotic damage dealt.

Spellcasting.  The Voidcaller is a 10th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). It has the following spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): Chill Touch, Thaumaturgy, Eldritch Blast, Toll the Dead

1st Level (4 slots): Command, Inflict Wounds

2nd Level (3 slots): Hold Person, Mirror Image

3rd Level (3 slots): Counterspell, Bestow Curse

4th Level (3 slots): Blight, Phantasmal Killer

5th Level (2 slots): Cloudkill, Wall of Force

Actions

Multiattack. The Voicaller makes two Voidflame Bolt or Grasp of The Void attacks.

Voidflame Bolt. Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (4d8 + 5) necrotic damage.

Grasp of The Void. Melee Spell Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (3d10) necrotic damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 17 Strength saving throw or be restrained until the end of its next turn.

Summon Voidspawn (Recharge 5-6)The Voidcaller calls forth the essence of the void. As an action, it summons a Void Aberration or 4 Voidbound Acolytes. These creatures obey the Voidcaller and act on its initiative count. They remain for 1 hour, until they drop to 0 hit points, or until the Voidcaller dismisses them as a bonus action.

Void Implosion (Recharge 5-6)The Voidcaller creates a 20-foot-radius sphere of void energy centered on a point it can see within 60 feet. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 36 (8d8) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures that fail the save are also pulled 10 feet closer to the center of the sphere.

Reactions

Void Shield. When the Voidcaller is hit by an attack, it can use its reaction to halve the damage and release a burst of necrotic energy. All creatures within 10 feet of the Voidcaller must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 10 (3d6) necrotic damage.
