Traits

Trampling Charge. If the baku moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 18 (4d8) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 19 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Hide Existence. As an action, the baku can make itself invisible for 1 minute. While invisible in this way, the baku can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 5 (1d10) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object. Once the baku uses this ability, it must wait until the next day to become intangible again, but it can become invisible through this ability at will.

Actions

Multiattack. The baku makes three attacks, one with its gore and two with its stomp.

Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d10 + 7) piercing damage.

Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 19 (3d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage.

Trumpeting Roar (Recharge 5–6). The baku releases a thundering roar in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in the cone must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 36 (8d8) thunder damage and is frightened of the baku for 1 minute on a failed save. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn’t frightened. A frightened creature can retake the saving throw at the end of its turn, ending the condition on a success.
