Description

Balewark are similar to Stone golems. They are both magical constructs cut and chiseled from stone to appear as tall, impressive statues. However, Balewark are constructed deep in the earth by vengeful spirts. They are nearly impervious to spells and ordinary weapons.

Some believe Balewark are the inspiration for the creation of golems. Balewark are odd beings because they seem to hate being so dry but will run at the sight of water. Although, Balewark are a very dangerous to living creatures. They actively search for oils creatures produce in the body, coating themselves in the mushy pulp of a creature if successful.
