Description

The Abyssal Serpent is a creature that evokes dread with its mere presence. Its body is an elongated, serpentine form, stretching to lengths that seem unnatural even for its massive size. The scales covering its body are a deep, abyssal black, occasionally shimmering with hues of dark purple or green, hinting at their otherworldly origin. These scales are not smooth but slightly raised, giving the impression of countless tiny, sharp spines or perhaps even eyes that watch from every angle.

Its head is a horror to behold; instead of a typical snake's visage, it has a wide, gaping maw filled with rows of jagged, translucent teeth that emit a faint, ghostly light. Rather than singular eyes, the face is dotted with multiple small, glowing red orbs, giving it a multi-faceted gaze that seems unnaturally aware.

From its head and along its spine sprout several thin, sinuous tentacles, each ending in either a small claw or what appears to be a whispering mouth. These appendages move ceaselessly, whispering in a language that feels both ancient and alien, adding to the creature's aura of madness and chaos.

The body of the Abyssal Serpent occasionally seems to defy physics, distorting or bending in impossible ways, as if it doesn't fully belong to the material plane. Its very existence feels like a breach of the natural order, a creature that should not be, its presence a testament to the deep, dark mysteries of the universe.
