Ankylosaurus

D&D helped me be able to identify this dinosaur for my Geology class in college. Thank you D&D.

A simple Ankylosaurus. Usable for the Polocanthus, Sauropelta, and other ankylosaurids.

The only change that this guy got was in its tail attack. It used to have only one Tail attack, but the attack did 18(4d6+4) bludgeoning with a DC 14 Strength save or be knocked prone. Now, it has two attacks that deal 9(1d10+4) each, and it automatically knocks huge or smaller creatures prone. Sadly, the Indominus Rex is Gargantuan, so this ankylosaurus do be dead. 

Fusion time! To really instill the fear of an Ankylosaur in your players, raise the Tail's damage to 18(4d6+4), but still have it attack twice.

 Just be ready for the party druid to make your life miserable once she takes that form. That 4d6+4 will shred your encounters, especially if you also keep the knockdown rider.

why is the armor class so low, it's armor dinosaur, like the best one! misinformation I swear.

i was also wondering about that, but if it were higher the only reason to dress him in full plate would be for looks.

YOU SHOULDN'T NEED TO DRESS THE ARMOR DINOSAUR IN ANY ARMOR AT ALL.

Also who is your supplier? Full plate for an entire dinosaur is gonna cast your your actual life, like the sell will look at you take your heart out of your chest and then sell the armor to you in the after life.

Well I have  a pet Ankylosaurus who can talk, and want to protect him. and since his ac is so low, some cool looking plate armor is a great solution. plus it would probably give him some kind of intimidation buff.

True, an ankylosaurus with armor is pretty scary- HOLD ON HOW THE HELL DO YOU HAVE A PET ANKYLOSAURUS THAT CAN TALK?! 

I found him in the the jungle, made him my friend, and then a few sessions later we paid a wizard to make him intelligent. so now the dinosaur is smarter than i am

I see, how did a wizard do that though? isn't awaken a druid spell?

I'm not really a spellcaster so I'm not sure. As far as I know it could have been a druid.
