Magic Resistance. The hezrou has Advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Stench. Constitution Saving Throw: DC 16, any creature that starts its turn in a 10-foot Emanation originating from the hezrou. Failure: The target has the Poisoned condition until the start of its next turn.
Multiattack. The hezrou makes three Rend attacks.
Rend. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 5 ft. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) Slashing damage plus 9 (2d8) Poison damage.
Leap. The hezrou jumps up to 30 feet by spending 10 feet of movement.

Posted Jun 7, 2026I probably would have gone 1d8+4 Slashing, 2d6 poison, instead of 1d4+4 and 2d8, so it can slap around devils and other demons a bit better. Or dwarves or heroes' feasters. Maybe 17 AC and 15 Dex as well, seeing as how it has magic resistance and high Con/Str/Wis saves. Higher AC than a Bulette could feel odd, even if a level 8+ party won't really struggle to hit 18 AC.
