Traits
Amorphous. The jelly can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch without expending extra movement to do so.
Spider Climb. The jelly can climb difficult surfaces, including along ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Actions
Pseudopod. Melee Attack Roll: +4, reach 5 ft. Hit: 12 (3d6 + 2) Acid damage.
Reactions
Split. Trigger: While the jelly is Large or Medium and has 10+ Hit Points, it becomes Bloodied or is subjected to Lightning or Slashing damage. Response: The jelly splits into two new Ochre Jellies. Each new jelly is one size smaller than the original jelly and acts on its Initiative. The original jelly’s Hit Points are divided evenly between the new jellies (round down).

Posted May 14, 2025Banana pudding jelly. It is edible, but that doesn't mean it tastes good.
Gained one hit die, increasing health from 45 to 52. Lost immunity to blindness, but gained immunity to grappled and restrained.
Pseudopod used to deal 9(2d6+2) bludgeoning plus 3(1d6) acid. Now, it deals 12(3d6+2) acid.
Split is reworded, but functionally the same.
I've never used these banana puddings, but you never know. Maybe an ooze dungeon with the fusion?
Fusion time! Really simple; give them back their immunity to being blindness and you have a good banana pudding.

Posted Jun 9, 2025It doesn't need imunity to being blinded because of blindsight (which is not affected by blindness). Or am I missing something?

Posted Jul 21, 2025Both new jellies, act on the Initiative of the original Jelly. You don't roll new Initiative for them. If the original Jelly acted this round already, then the new one will act only on the next round.
