Snowy Ambusher. Xyo gains + 1 bonus to initiative and gains advantage with stealth while hiding in snowy terrain. If Xyo surprises a creature and hits it with an attack from stealth, the target takes an extra 12(3d6) damage from the attack.
Predator Sense. Xyo gains advantage with perception and survival checks that involve scent. Magical darkness doesn't impede Xyo's darkvision.
Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Xyo fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.
Magic Resistance. Xyo has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects
Magic Weapons. Xyo’s Weapons attacks are magical. When he hits with any weapons, the weapon deals an extra 4d6 cold damage (including in the weapon attacks below)
Regeneration. Xyo regains 20 hit points at the start of its turn. If it takes fire damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of its next turn. Xyo dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn't regenerate.
Spellcasting. Xyo’s innate spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 24). He can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At Will: Mind Sliver, Ray of Frost, Prestidigitation, Alter Self(Can only use it to turn humanoid and medium sized), Stone Shape, Ice Knife, Rime’s Binding Ice, Sleet Storm, Hunter’s Mark
3/day: Counterspell, Ice Storm, Greater Invisibility(Self), Wall of Ice, Cloudkill, Otiluke's Freezing Sphere, Teleport, Move Earth, Steel Wind Strike
1/day: Mass Heal, Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting
Multiattack. Xyo makes three Bite, Stinger or Murk Bolt attacks.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +15 to hit, reach 10ft, one target. Hit: 2d10+7 piercing damage plus 4d6 cold damage.
Stinger. Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 15ft, one target. Hit: 2d8 poison damage plus 4d6 cold damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution save or be poisoned until the end of their next turn.
Murk Bolt. Ranged Spell Attack: +16 to hit, reach 60ft, one target. Hit: 3d8+8 cold damage plus 3d4 radiant damage
Swallow. Xyo makes one bite attack against a large or smaller target it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside Xyo, and it takes 32 (8d6) cold damage at the start of each of the Xyo's turns.
If the Xyo takes 40 damage or more on a single turn from a swallowed creature, the Xyo must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate the creature, which falls in a space within 5 feet of the Xyo and has the prone condition; the creature no longer has the blinded and restrained conditions.
Hallowed Arrow (Recharge 5-6). Ranged Spell Attack: +16 to hit, reach 90ft. Hit: 2d10+8 force damage plus 3d8 radiant damage.If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 24 Strength save or be restrained until the end of Xyo’s next turn.
Mist Breath (Recharge 4-6). Xyo exhales out the energy of chilly mist in a 90-foot cone.Each creature in that area must make a DC 24 Dexterity saving throw, taking 66 (12d10) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature killed by this breath becomes a frozen statue until it thaws.
Shadow Stealth. While in dim light or darkness, Xyo can take the Hide action as a bonus action.
Uncanny Dodge. When an attacker that Xyo can see hits Xyo with an attack, Xyo halves the attack's damage against him.
Xyo can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Xyo regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn
Swift Strike. Xyo makes one attack with his stinger
Brain Burst. Xyo casts Mind Sliver (17th level)
Brumal Hunger (Cost 2 Actions). Xyo makes one Bite attack, now coated in dark magic. If the attack hits, the target must succeed a DC 24 Wisdom save or gain one level of exhaustion. Xyo gains back hit points equal to half of the damage dealt by the bite.
Feathered Waltz (Cost 2 Actions). Xyo beats his wings. Each creature within 15 feet of him must succeed on DC 24 Dexterity saving throw or take 14 (2d4+9) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. Xyo can then fly up to half of his flying speed.
