Multiattack. The Acolyte makes two attacks using its Scimitar.
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage.
Control. The Acolyte targets a Medium creature or smaller within 15 feet of it, forcing it to succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be displaced up to 10 feet closer or away from it.
Description
Newly Indoctrinated
Acolytes of The Dark are often young individuals angry at the world for their lot in life, be it deserved or not. Abandoned or abused children, delinquent or criminal teens, violent or drunk young adults — many find solace and gratification in inflicting pain onto others to satisfy their morbid desires or twisted worldviews. Such individuals are extremely prone to fall to the enticing whispers of practitioners of The Dark, beginning their somber journey into the Cult as neophytes learning these putrid arts.
The Dark
An otherwordly power, those who bend the knee to it and allow it to seep into their minds are granted destructive magical capabilities and a yearning to use it. While continuous use of these abilities slowly corrupts and degrades the body, many are simply too addicted to the power it provides to stop, using it to satisfy their greed or hatred. Many of the more senior members of this Cult have been tirelessly searching for the secrets of immortality, deathly afraid of what fate awaits them on the other side.
