Apprentice of The Dark

Power from The Dark {3/Short Rest}. The Apprentice has tasted the Power of The Dark and, while it can only use it sparingly, is already intoxicated by it. By spending 1 point, the Apprentice can use Hate, Passion, or Control. Power from The Dark can only be used once per turn.

Infused with The Dark. The Apprentice's very essence has been infused by the power known as The Dark. The Apprentice's AC includes its CHA modifier {+2} and its Scimitar deals bonus fire damage as long as it has 1 remaining use of Power from The Dark.

Multiattack. The Apprentice makes two attacks using its Blazing Scimitar. It can replace one attack with a Power from the Dark Action if applicable.

Blazing Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage, plus 2 (1d4) fire damage.

Hate. Ranged Spell Attack.+4 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d6) lightning damage.

Passion. The Apprentice targets a creature within 30 feet of it that it can see, forcing it to succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity Saving throw or have their throat caught in its Telekinetic grasp, dealing 5 (1d10) Force damage and preventing the target from using Somatic components when it comes to spell casting until the end of its next turn.

Control. The Apprentice targets a Medium creature or smaller within 15 feet of it, forcing it to succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be displaced up to 10 feet closer or away from it.
