Masks of the Wild. The wendigo can attempt to hide even when it is only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, or other natural phenomena.

Mimicry. The wendigo can any sounds it has heard, including voices. A hearer can discern the sounds are imitations with a successful DC 14 Wisdom (Insight) check.

Actions

Multiattack. The Wendigo makes two claw attacks.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d10 + 3) slashing damage, plus 6 (1d10) necrotic damage.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of the wendigo's choice that is within 30 feet of the wendigo and aware of it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the wendigo's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
