Fiery Spell Shaper
When V'Sala casts a spell that deals fire damage, he can shape the flames to avoid up to 2 creatures he can see. These creatures automatically succeed on their saving throws and take no damage if they would normally take half damage on a successful save.
Innate Spellcasting
V'Sala's spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). He can cast the following spells innately, without using material components:
- Cantrips (at will):
Fire Bolt, Control Flames, Prestidigitation, Mage Hand - 1st Level (4 slots):
Burning Hands, Mage Armor (cast at start of combat), Shield - 2nd Level (3 slots):
Scorching Ray, Misty Step - 3rd Level (3 slots):
Fireball, Counterspell - 4th Level (2 slots):
Wall of Fire, Greater Invisibility - 5th Level (1 slot):
Immolation
Multiattack.
V'Sala makes two Fire Bolt attacks or casts a spell and makes one Fire Bolt attack.
Fire Bolt (Cantrip). Ranged Spell Attack: +8 to hit, range 120 ft., one target.
Hit: 19 (4d10) fire damage.
Ember Step.
V'Sala can momentarily wreathe his feet in flame, allowing him to move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks. This movement must be in a straight line, and he leaves a brief trail of harmless embers behind him.
Fiery Shield (2/Day).
When hit by an attack, V'Sala can use his reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll and deal 7 (2d6) fire damage to the attacker if they are within 5 feet of him.
Description
V'Sala maintains distance, using Fireball, Scorching Ray, and Immolation to deal heavy fire damage. He uses Misty Step to escape melee threats and Wall of Fire for battlefield control. [Tooltip Not Found] provides situational defense, and Greater Invisibility is used for repositioning or escape. [Tooltip Not Found] is employed to reposition without risking opportunity attacks and to control movement strategically.
