Hive Mind. The Blighted Ash Titan shares a telepathic connection with other Blighted creatures. If one Blighted creature within range is aware of a hostile creature, all Blighted creatures in that range are also aware.
Colossal Stature. It can move through the space of any creature that is Huge or smaller. When it enters a creature’s space for the first time on a turn, that creature must make a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw or take 33 (6d10) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone.
Ashen Devastation. A 40-foot radius around the Titan is filled with swirling cinders, thick ash, and blighted energy. This area is heavily obscured, and creatures that start their turn inside must succeed on a DC 21 Constitution saving throw or take 22 (5d8) necrotic damage and advance one stage in the Blighted Scourge infection. The ash lingers for 1 minute even after the Titan moves.
Blighted Scourge. Natural weapon attacks by the Blighted Ash Titan carry the Blighted Scourge infection. A creature hit by its attacks must succeed on a DC 22 Constitution saving throw or advance one stage in the Blighted Scourge infection.
Blighted Regeneration. The Titan regenerates 30 hit points at the start of its turn unless it has taken radiant damage since its last turn.
Siege Monster. The Titan deals double damage to objects and structures.
Multiattack. The Blighted Ash Titan makes three attacks: one with its Bite and two with its Slam.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target.
Hit: 38 (5d10 + 10) piercing damage plus 18 4d8 blighted energy damage. The target must make a DC 22 Constitution saving throw or advance one stage in the Blighted Scourge infection.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target.
Hit: 36 (6d10 + 10) bludgeoning damage plus 13 3d8 blighted energy damage. The target must succeed on a DC 22 Constitution saving throw or advance in the Blighted Scourge infection.
Blight Burst (Recharge 5-6). The Titan releases a surge of concentrated blighted energy in a 40-foot radius. Each creature in that area must make a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw, taking 63 14d8 blighted energy damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. Creatures that fail the save also advance one stage in the Blighted Scourge infection.
Ashquake Stomp (Recharge 6). The Titan slams the ground, causing a violent tremor in a 30-foot radius. Each creature in the area must make a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw or take 40 (9d8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The area becomes difficult terrain for 1 minute.
Blighted Energy Absorption. The Titan can absorb the blighted energy of one creature within 60 feet. If the target is Blighted, it must succeed on a DC 22 Constitution saving throw or take 36 8d8 blighted energy damage, and the Titan regains hit points equal to half the damage dealt.
If the target is not Blighted, it must still make a DC 22 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes the damage as normal and advances one stage in the Blighted Scourge infection. On a success, the creature takes no damage and gains 2 successes toward reducing its current stage of the Blighted Scourge infection.
This ability cannot target the same creature more than once per round.
Blighted Resurgence (1/Day). When reduced to 50% or less of its hit points, the Blighted Ash Titan can immediately use its Blight Burst action.
The Blighted Ash Titan can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. The Titan regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
- Slam Attack. The Titan makes one Slam attack.
- Corruption Pulse (Costs 2 Actions). The Titan releases a pulse of blighted corruption. All creatures within 15 feet must succeed on a DC 22 Constitution saving throw or take 22 5d8 blighted energy damage and advance one stage in the Blighted Scourge infection.
- Devastating Roar (Costs 3 Actions). The Titan emits a terrifying roar. Each creature within 60 feet must succeed on a DC 21 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. Infected creatures in the radius take an additional 18 4d8 blighted energy damage.
Description
The Blighted Ash Titan is a nightmarish colossus formed from the ashes of scorched Blighted creatures, given terrible life by the Supreme’s influence. Towering above even the greatest of monstrosities, its massive form shrouds the land in a swirling storm of burning cinders and suffocating black smoke. The air around it is thick with toxic ash, a constant reminder of its destructive birth.
As it moves, the ground blackens and crumbles beneath its steps, while its very presence warps the environment into a blighted wasteland. Unlike lesser Blighted creatures, the Titan does not simply spread the Scourge—it commands it, reshaping the battlefield into a domain of despair and suffocation. Even from a distance, its baleful, violet-lit form looms like an omen of annihilation.
"From fire, it was born. From ash, it rises. And to ruin, it shall return all that stands before it."
