Shapechanger. Vorrik can use his action to shift between humanoid, hybrid, or wolf form. His statistics remain the same in each form, except:
In hybrid form, he can speak and wield weapons while retaining his bite attack.
In wolf form, he gains advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks relying on smell.
Keen Smell. Vorrik has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Pack Leader’s Command. Vorrik’s stormborn werewolves within 30 feet of him have advantage on attack rolls while they can see him.
Static Fury. When Vorrik takes cold or lightning damage, he channels the energy and adds 1d6 lightning damage to his melee attacks for 1 minute.
Multiattack. Vorrik makes two melee attacks: one with his claws and one with his bite (if in hybrid or wolf form), or two attacks with his greataxe.
⚡ Bite (Wolf or Hybrid Form). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) piercing damage + 3 (1d6) lightning damage. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become cursed with stormborn lycanthropy.
⚡ Claws (Hybrid Form). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage + 3 (1d6) lightning damage.
⚡ Stormborn Greataxe (Humanoid Form). Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage + 3 (1d6) lightning damage.
Bonus Action: Stormborn Pounce (Recharge 4-6)
"With a surge of storm energy, Vorrik lunges at his prey, claws crackling with lightning."
Stormborn Pounce. If Vorrik moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature, he can make a claw attack as a bonus action. If the attack hits, the target must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
If the target is already prone, Vorrik instead gains advantage on his next melee attack against them.
Reaction: Thunderous Reprisal (Recharge 5-6)
"Vorrik’s body crackles with storm energy as he lashes out in retaliation, unleashing a shockwave of thunderous force."
Trigger: When a creature within 5 feet of Vorrik hits him with a melee attack, he can unleash a burst of stored storm energy.
Effect: The attacker must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or take 7 (2d6) thunder damage and be pushed 10 feet away. On a success, they take half damage and are not pushed.
(Vorrik can take one legendary action per round, choosing from the options below.)
⚡ Lightning Step (Costs 1 Action). Vorrik teleports up to 30 feet in a flash of lightning. Any creature within 5 feet of where he started must make a DC 13 Dexterity save or take 6 (1d10) lightning damage.
⚡ Thunderous Roar (Costs 1 Action, Recharge 5-6). Vorrik lets out a deafening howl, forcing all creatures within 30 feet to make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be deafened for 1 minute. If a creature fails by 5 or more, they are stunned until the end of their next turn.
Description
Vorrik stays mobile, darting between attacks and using Lightning Step to reposition.
He focuses on weaker targets first, using Pack Leader’s Command to overwhelm them.
If he takes too much cold damage, he becomes more dangerous, as Static Fury activates.
If the battle turns against him, he uses Thunderous Roar to buy time and escape.
