Pack Tactics. The wolf has Advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the wolf’s allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally doesn’t have the Incapacitated condition.
Pounce. If the Ashenfang Raptor moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, the target must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the raptor may use a [Tooltip Not Found] to make a bite attack.
Ember Trail. (once per day) When the Ashenfang Raptor takes the Dash action, it leaves behind a 10-foot-wide trail of burning embers in a straight line up to 60 feet long. Any creature that starts its turn in the ember trail takes 2d6 fire damage. The embers last for 1 minute, igniting [Tooltip Not Found] that aren’t being worn or carried.
Predator’s Reflexes.
The Ashenfang Raptor can take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action as a [Tooltip Not Found]. Its heightened instincts and agility allow it to reposition quickly in combat.
Living Fire.
While mounted, the raptor’s rider gains Resistance to [damage]Fire[/damage] damage, as the intense heat radiating from the Ashenfang’s body shields them from flames.
War Raptor Bonding.
The Ashenfang Raptor chooses its rider and cannot be tamed through normal means. A warrior must prove their worth in battle before the raptor will accept them as a mount. If a rider is deemed unworthy or too weak, the raptor will abandon them.

The Ashenfang Raptor makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.

Nature & Behavior

Though fiercely independent, these creatures are deeply loyal once they bond with a rider. But such bonds are never given freely—they must be earned through battle.
Bonding & Taming an Ashenfang Raptor
The Ashenfang Raptor cannot be broken like a normal mount.
A warrior must prove their strength before it will accept them.
