Traits

Relentless Hunger. When the wangliang is reduced to 0 hit points by any damage other than Acid or Fire damage, it doesn!t die or fall Unconscious, and can continue moving and taking actions as usual. The wangliang only dies if they end their turn with 0 hit points, if Acid or Fire damage reduces it to 0 hit points, or if they take Acid or Fire damage while it has 0 hit points.

Actions

Multiattack. The wangliang makes two attacks: either two Claw attacks, or one Lajatang attack and a Backstab attack. The wangliang can replace one attack with a use of Spellcasting.

Claw. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 10 ft. Hit: 10 (2d4 + 5) Slashing damage plus 2 (1d4) Necrotic damage. If the target is not a Construct, an Elemental, or a Plant, the wangliang regains hit points equal to the Necrotic damage dealt. If this attack reduces the target to 0 hit points, the wangliang regains twice as many hit points as it otherwise would with this attack.

Lajatang. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 15 ft. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) Piercing damage.

Backstab. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 10 ft. Hit: 7 (2d6) Piercing damage.

Spellcasting. The wangliang casts one of the following spells without spell components, using Intelligence as its spellcasting ability (spell save DC 13):

At Will: Alter Self (into a Large or Smaller Humanoid), Rary's Telepathic Bond (other wangliang only), Invisibility, See Invisibility

Reactions

Vengeance. When the wangliang is reduced to 0 hit points and doesn’t die, it can make a Claw attack against a creature within 5 feet of them.
