Reflective Step. The Mirror Man can move between reflective surfaces within 60 feet as if they were adjacent spaces. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks. It can also make melee weapon attacks through reflective surfaces as if the surface were an extension of itself.
Mirror Latch. The Mirror Man can attach itself to a creature’s reflection. The target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the creature is unaware that the Mirror Man has latched onto its reflection; on a success, the creature detects the attempt, and the Mirror Man fails to latch on. The creature automatically fails this saving throw if it is unaware of the Mirror Man’s existence.
While latched onto a creature, the Mirror Man exists in every reflection the creature encounters. This allows the Mirror Man to persist even without a reflection of its own. Whenever the affected creature sees its reflection, it sees the Mirror Man instead. If the Mirror Man is in multiple reflections at once, it does not create multiple copies of itself; however, it appears as such. Only shattering the reflection the Mirror Man actually inhabits will force it out due to Mirror Demiplane.
Shatter Weakness. If The Mirror Man is hit by the Shatter spell, it takes double damage and loses its Reflection Step ability until the end of its next turn.
Shatter Death. When the Mirror Man is reduced to 0 hit points, it shatters in a 5-foot-radius explosion. All creatures within this area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 10 (3d6) slashing damage on a failure, or half as much on a success.
Mirror Demiplane. While inside a reflective surface or latched onto a creature's reflection, the Mirror Man is considered inside its Mirror Demiplane. Unless it is occupying a reflection, the Mirror Man cannot interact with, see, or exist outside of the Mirror Demiplane. The Demiplane is an infinitely large, mirror-filled void where every surface is reflective.
If the Mirror Man is using a reflection as a gateway, it can interact with and even exit into the Material Plane. While inside a reflection, it exists partially within its Demiplane. While in its Demiplane, it has resistance to all physical damage except bludgeoning. If the reflective surface it inhabits is shattered, the Mirror Man is forced out of the Demiplane into the Material Plane. This also severs any active Mirror Latch effects.
Distorted Image. When The Mirror Man is within 5 feet of a reflective surface, attack rolls against it have disadvantage if they rely on sight.
Immutable Form. The mirror man is immune to any spell or effect that would alter its form.
Magic Weapons. The Mirror Man’s weapon attacks are magical.
Reflective Surface. Any time the Mirror Man is targeted by a magic missile spell, a line spell, or a spell that requires a ranged attack roll, roll a d6. On a 6, the Mirror Man is unaffected by the spell, and the effect is reflected back at the caster as through it originated from the Mirror Man, turning the caster into the target.
Multiattack. The Mirror Man makes two Slashing Claw attacks.
Slashing Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage plus 7 (2d6) psychic damage.
Gaze of the Abyss. The Mirror Man targets one creature it can see within 30 feet. The target must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, it becomes frightened for 1 minute. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
The Mirror Man can take 2 legendary actions, choosing from the options below.
- Reflective Slash.(Costs 1)T he Mirror Man makes a Slashing Claw attack against a creature.
- Vanishing Step.(Costs 1) The Mirror Man moves up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks. It can only use this movement if it moves through a reflective surface at least once.
Description
The Mirror Man is a fragmented entity born from the collapse of a reality that never followed the rules of nature. Its body appears as a twisted humanoid silhouette, formed from countless shards of living glass, each reflecting distorted versions of the world around it. Shadows stretch unnaturally from its form, and its jagged edges shimmer with an eerie, silver light that seems to flicker with the remnants of broken dreams.
