Description
The subject of an old curse. A once-noble and rich king was cursed by the court magicians he trusted the most under the light of the full moon. Cursed, not to become a wolf under the moon's influence, but the most hideous abomination the magicians could think of. A cockatrice, the abandoned monster. Rather than fall under the curse by himself, the king dragged his court to hell with him. He attacked in the dark, as a beast, his sinister cawing the only warning the king's subjects received before they were dragged into the darkness and turned into a permanent display of terror. The king created a breeding ground for the "noble" cockatrice, his eloquent speech and heavily mutated family crest, once an eagle, the only vestiges of his former glory. He rules with a sword fashioned from the stone of his former magicians and a cold, avian glint in his eye. King of Abominations, of Monstrosities, of Statues.
