Description
The Aitu is a medium sized fey patron that is known to frequent many islands of the Pacific. A firm part of the culture and lore of various Polynesian and Maori societies, the Aitu are often malevolent and infamous for exploiting various villages and cultures for sacrifices and offerings, in exchange granting the occupants temporary reprieve from its rage. Aitu's are relatively common within the Polynesian triangle and are known to be relatively powerful spellcasters, whilst also being terrifying combatants in close quarters able to hold their own. The Aitu are often territorial with one another, but it is not above their nature to attempt to meet with fellow Aitu and band together to inflict their rage upon non compliant villages. They also are known to shift their own forms into plants, beasts, ghosts and humanoids as they wander their domains watching over their vassalage and ensuring compliance with the terms of the deals that they offer, whilst also slowly overtime perfecting their spells and abilities over time, attempting to become more powerful so as to keep uprising Warlocks following them in check.
