Unintelligable Gibbering. Creatures that speak the same language as the Arm Snake cannot understand it unless they have the ability to understand backward speech.
Musty Hand. The Arm Snake has a disgusting, unnerving appearance. Upon seeing the Arm Snake, a creature must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of the Arm Snake for 1 minute. After succeeding on the saving throw, or after being affected by this trait, creatures are immune to this trait it for 24 hours.
Multiattack. The Arm Snake uses five Finger Smushes.
Nauseating Mumbling. The Arm Snake mutters a sentence that includes a series of disgusting snorts and other noises horrendous enough to make someone physically sick. Any creature that can hear the Arm Snake must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw, taking 26 (4d12) psychic damage on a failed save.
Smack. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 29 (4d10 + 7) bludgeoning damage. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or become stunned for 1 minute.
Finger Smush. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 9 (1d4 + 7) bludgeoning damage. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw or become incapacitated for 1 minute.
Thwack. The Arm Snake can use this reaction when a creature moves by flying while within 10 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 11 (2d10) bludgeoning damage, falling onto the ground, and becoming unable to fly for 1 minute on a failed save.
Description
These giant, gibbering arms speak backward and rant to themselves while dragging their heavy bodies forward with incredible speed using their hand. Where these creatures originated from is unknown, and even other powerful aberrations, such as Beholders and Mind Flayers, find them disturbing.
