Description
An Ascended Speaker was once a undead humanoid chosen by the Great Kindness. If near death or hitting 0 hit points, the Speaker transforms into an elemental beast of fire and rot to continue serving the Great Kindness. It still has capabilities of speech and have grating, haunting voices. The mask it wore is fused to its skull. An Ascended Speaker is anywhere from 6 to 15 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet long, including its tail. It has a mane of fire that, along with the rest of its body, matches the colors of the Glorious Shards (black, purple, red, orange and yellow). Having been undead to begin with, an Ascended Speaker often has missing pieces of flesh or is actively rotting away. If killed, it only leaves behind a pile of dark purplish ash and the mask.
