Dark Lady's Loss. As an action, the avatar can emit a shadow embodying loss itself. All enemies in a 60ft radius must make a WIS saving throw, on a failed save the player must roll a D10, losing a spell slot corresponding to the number rolled. If a 10 is rolled the player loses 2 of their highest available spell slots (In the event players highest spell slots are lower than 9th level, all numbers rolled higher than their highest unlocked spell slot equate to rolling their highest spell slot).
Innate Spellcasting. The Avatar of Shar's innate spellcasting ability is Wisdom (Spell save DC 20). It can innately cast the following spells at will, requiring no material components.
Cantrips (at will): [Chill Touch], [Thaumaturgy]

6th level 1/Day, [Disintegrate]
8th level 1/Day, [Dark Star], [Maddening Darkness]
9th level 1/Day, [Ravenous Void]
Multiattack. Avatar of Shar makes three weapon attacks. The Avatar of Shar can choose to cast a spell in place of the two attacks.
Shar's Spear of Evening. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 3 + Strength Modifier) piercing damage.
Dark Lady's Pain. The Avatar of Shar can use a bonus action to inflict 1 D12 damage to itself, giving a +2 to all saving throws against spells and attack rolls
Dark Lady's Wrath. When hit with a spell attack, The attacker must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 18) or be frightened till the end of their next turn.
Dark Lady's Retribution (Costs 1 Reaction). The first time any combatant falls below 50% hitpoints in combat, The Avatar of Shar heals for 1 D20 hitpoints. (This effect triggers for every time this happens)

Posted Mar 7, 2025This is my first attempt at homebrewing a monster, I'm running a mini campaign in the Shadowfell including a cult of Sharrans holding my player's family of Raven Queen worshipers to convert them to her ranks. Any ideas on how to improve would be appreciated!
P.S. It's 3 level 17 players so they should be fine fighting something like this (I may even have to buff it they scare me XD)
