Speak with Beasts and Plants: The appendage can communicate with beasts and plants as if they shared a language
Tethered Vitality: Being magically bound to its main body, if the Human Appendage ever moves more than 50 ft. away from the Alraune's central form, it takes 10 psychic damage at the start of each of tis turns until it returns within range.
Bound Life: If the Alraune dies, so does the appendage. Vice versa if this appendage dies, the Alraune suffers 40 points of damage.
Legendary Resistance (1/Day): Whenever Alraune would be subjected to a status condition, it can expend one Legendary Resistance and choose not to be effected by it.
Multiattack: The Appendage can use two of the following options on its turn.
Rending Whip: Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature.
On hit: 2d6 + 2 Slashing damage. In addition, the target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution Save or suffer lingering wounds (taking 1d4 necrotic damage at the start of its next turn; if hit by this attack again before it heals, the effects stack).
Nettled Sting: Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature.
On hit: 1d8 Piercing damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution save or be poisoned until the end of its next turn.
Life-Draining Kiss: Melee Weapon Attack: + 5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature.
On hit: 1d8 Necrotic damage, and the Appendage regains hit points equal to half the damage dealt. If the target is already charmed by the Appendage, it is also incapacitated until the end of its next turn.
Thorn Barrage (Recharge 5-6): The Appendage transforms part of its body into a cluster of razor-sharp thorns and fires them in a 30 ft cone. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity save or take 3d6 Piercing damage (half as much on a successful save).
Seductive Flourish: The Appendage shifts its form into an even more alluring guise. Choose one creature within 30 ft. that can see the Appendage. That creature must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom save or be charmed until the start of the Appendage's next turn. While charmed in this way, the creature has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than the Human Appendage.
Entrancing Riposte: When a creature within 10 ft. makes an attack against the Appendate and is under the effect of its Seductive Flourish or is otherwise charmed by it, the appendage can use its reaction to impose disadvantage on that attack roll.
Thorned Parry: When hit by a melee attack, the Appendage can use its reaction to lash out with a spiked tendril. The attacker must succeed on a DC 13 Strength save or take 1d4 Piercing damage, and have its speed reduced by 10 ft until the end of its next turn.
The Appendage has 2 legendary action points it can spend at the end of another creature's turn. These points refresh at the start of its turn each round. It has the following options:
Life Leech (Cost 2): The appendage uses its Life-Draining Kiss against a charmed target. If the target is also grappled, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution save or be stunned until the end of its next turn.
Charming Burst (Cost 2): The Appendage releases a burst of spores into the air. All creatures within 10 ft. must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom save or be charmed until the end of the Appendages next turn.
Description
The Alraune (Human Appendage): A deceptive, humanlike aspect of the larger plant predator. Manifesting a strikingly familiar and disarming figure, such as a seductive companion, a vulnerable child or even a kindly herbalist, it lures its prey into a false sense of security. Unlike its main, rooted form, the Appendage is agile and deceptive. Its body can shift between multiple forms to aid in direct combat. Its arms may morph into whip-like tendrils capable of rending flesh, transform into stinging appendages that deliver venom, or concentrate a cluster of razor-thorned projectiles for a ranged assault.
Bound to the Alraune's main body by magic, the Appendage shares its fate. Its demise weakens the whole, and its loss inflicts significant harm on the central entity. This inseperable bond make the duo fight a singular, multifaceted threat: while the main body controls the battlefield with its expansive reach and environmental manipulation, the Appendage focuses on precision strikes and disruptive charm.
