Multiattack. The ammut makes one Bite attack and two Claw attacks.
Bite. Melee Attack Roll: + 6 to hit, 5 ft. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) Piercing damage. If the target is a creature that is Small or smaller, the target is also Grappled. The ammut can grapple one creature at a time.
Claw. Melee Attack Roll: + 6 to hit, 5 ft. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) Slashing damage.
Word of Judgment. Constitution Saving Throw: DC 14, each creature in a 20-ft. Cone. Failure: 16 (3d10) Thunder damage, and the target is Deafened for one minute. A Deafened creature repeats this saving throw at the end of each of its turns. Success: Half damage.

Description
As judges of the dead, ammut roam the desert in pursuit of damned souls to consume. Their heads resemble that of a crocodile, with a lion-like mane surrounding their thick necks, a pair of forepaws resembling a lioness, and a pair of hindpaws resembling a hippopotamus. Ammut also revile other races to the point of seclusion, rarely venturing from their burrows in the daytime and preferring to hunt their wicked prey in the cool of the moon's glow.
