Description

The Anuran Priest of Malishka is the most devoted Anuran in the shoal near Trox and acts as the sole liaison between the Anuran shoal and their god, the Malishka. Though the Malishka is no true god, the Anuran Priest's devotion to the Malishka grants them some magical abilities and extreme power over the rest of the Anuran in the shoal.

Anurans are strange fish-like creatures with limited sentience that can be found in small groups throughout the Nighthaven Bog, often occupying large, deep ponds or damp caves. Many Anurans are little more than beasts, driven purely by instinct. The few that have evolved a greater ability to think have realized their vulnerabilities and have grown desperate, often seeking out "gods" that promise to protect them or grant them power to defend themselves. Rarely, however, do these gods turn out to be benevolent, with most simply being intelligent, powerful monstrosities that see an opportunity to use the Anurans to their advantage, either cultivating them as food or using the Anurans to bring them food.
