Traits

Change Appearance. The changeling can use its action to polymorph into a Medium humanoid it has seen, or back into its true form. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Actions

Multiattack. The conjurer makes three Psychic Burst attacks.

Psychic Burst. Melee or Ranged Spell Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 120 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (3d10 + 3) psychic damage.

Unsettling Visage (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). Each creature within 30 feet of the changeling must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Spellcasting. The conjurer casts one of the following spells, using Intelligence as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 14):

At will: dancing lights, mage hand, prestidigitation

2/day each: hunger of hadar, mage armor, unseen servant

1/day each: fly, stinking cloud, web

Bonus Actions

Benign Transportation (Recharge 4–6). The conjurer teleports, along with any equipment it is wearing or carrying, up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space that it can see. If it instead chooses a space within range that is occupied by a willing Small or Medium creature, they both teleport, swapping places.

Summon Aberration (1/Day). The conjurer magically summons an Swarm of Cranium Rats, an Otyugh, a Red Slaad, or a Roper (all appear in the Monster Manual 2024). The aberration appears in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of the conjurer, whom it obeys. It takes its turn immediately after the conjurer. It lasts for 1 hour, until it or the conjurer dies, or until the conjurer dismisses it as a bonus action.

Description

An Aberrant Conjurer summon creatures infused with energies from the Far Realm, or from the Far Realm, and teleport themselves and others in the blink of an eye.

The Aberrant Conjurer serves Verath the Defiler, as a high ranking member of the cult of Visk'ulig, the Aboleth
