Spider Climb. The spider dragon can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Walker. The spider dragon ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing.
Legendary Resistance (3/day). If the spider dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Multiattack. The spider dragon can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (2d10 + 9) piercing damage plus 9 (2d8) poison damage and target must succeed on a DC 22 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 hour.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +16 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d6 + 9) slashing damage.
Frightful Presence. Each creature of the spider dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the spider dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 19 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the spider dragon's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.
Spewing Breath (Recharge 5-6). The spider dragon exhales poison and it's own young in a 90-foot cone. Each creature in that line must make a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw, taking 50 (10d8) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Additionally, 6 (1d6 + 2) Swarm of Insects (Spiders) are summoned randomly within the area of effect.
The spider dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The spider dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.
Detect. The spider dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.
Bite. The spider dragon makes a bite attack.
Web Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The spider dragon sprays its caustic webbing. Each creature within a 60 ft. cone must succeed on a DC 23 Dexterity saving throw or take 16 (2d6 + 9) poison damage and be restrained. The dragon can then move up to half its speed towards a restrained enemy.
To break free of the webbing, a creature can take an action to make a DC 18 Strength (Athletics) check, bursting the web on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed- AC 17, HP 28; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison and psychic damage.
