Magic Resistance. The golem has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Magic Weapons. The golem's weapon attacks are magical.
Illumination. The golem magically sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. This light goes out when the golem is destroyed.
Multiattack. The golem makes two slam attacks.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage.
Graviton (Recharge 5–6). The golem targets a point it can see within 60 feet of it. Each creature within a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must succeed a DC 15 Strength saving throw against this magic. On a failed save, the creature takes 16 (4d8) Force damage, and its speed becomes 0 until the start of the golem's next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage, and its speed isn’t reduced.
Description
Amethyst golems were created as guardians of Faern Khadim, they appear to be 10-foot-tall dwarf warriors. Like other golems, they are nearly impervious to spells and ordinary weapons.
Created from the magic gemstones of the Underisle, sometimes the process of creating these golems goes awry. If a large enough portion of the amethyst golem is broken and left unattended, or if it was abandoned during the creation process, this can lead to the unintentional birth of a Fragment Amethyst Golem. Though not as formidable as their completed variants, fragment amethyst golems tend to roam freely with no purpose. Attacking without warning, or simply behaving strangely as it wanders the Underisle.
