Traits

Adamantine Shell. When the armor is the target of a critical hit, it can choose to make it a normal hit and instead reduce its AC by 2 permanently.

Actions

Multiattack. The armor makes two Slam or Kick attacks in any combination.

Slam. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 5 ft. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) Bludgeoning damage, and the target is subjected to the following effect. Strength or Dexterity Saving Throw: DC 15. Failure: The target is knocked Prone.

Kick. Melee Attack Roll: +7, reach 10 ft. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) Bludgeoning damage, and the target is subjected to the following effect. Strength Saving Throw: DC 15. Failure: The target is pushed up to 10ft. away.

Bonus Actions

Bolster. If the armor is within 5ft. of a friendly Animated Armor, it can use its bonus action to instantly reduce it to 0 hit points. The plates of the original Animated Armor reshape and join onto the Juggernaut's plate, increasing its AC by 1 and its Strength by 2 but decreasing its movement speed by 10ft.

Reactions

Electrical Discharge. Upon taking lightning damage, the armor can use its reaction to redirect half of the damage rounded down to a creature it can see within 30ft. of it. This uses the same attack roll or saving throw of the original attack roll or saving throw.

Description

Animated suits of armor might move with steady deliberateness or awkward gaits. They’re often constructed from plate armor, making them easy to mistake for soldiers or helmed horrors. Other types of armor or even metal statuary might also become animated armor. Juggernauts are rarer, larger, more expensive to create and often feature adamantine to strengthen them. Many possess the ability to redirect electricity.
