Description

A beautiful burning moth found in lush and volcanic caverns. Not known for their aggression, only showing it if one threatens their young, eggs, themselves or their favorite flower they feed on: the Star Blossom. Any harm that would come to any of these of things results in hyper aggression. And fire. Did I mention fire? Because good lord there will loads of it. But nonetheless, they are a sight to behold from a distance in your average cavern run. It's said they came from another land, being birthed from a red dragon known as "Peril". Peril is a female ancient red dragon with the not so fun quirk of having scales made of fire which upon contact can melt lead in under a minute. When she sheds one of these burning scales a young Ardor Blossom Moth is born.

If you were very stupid to make one of the magnificent creatures aggressive, like their propagator, contact from them will set you on fire. And you being on fire simply just fuels theirs. It is paramount that one subdues one quickly in combat, else you end up in urn. Blossom Moth's disdain water, so just pouring a little dwindles their hearts fire, thus reducing the burn scars you'll end up with after your encounter. Final thing to mention they are surprisingly beefy given that they are literal bugs, they even are up to par with ancient dragons in comparison to their vitality.
