Traits

Assimilated (SRP-74). Assimilated beings of the parasite SRP-74, will not attack beings controlled by SRP-74.

SRP-74 Host. Being infected with SRP-74, the assimilated bear will attack those not under the control of SRP-74, on sight.

COTH. Any organic matter hit by the assimilated bear, even if undamaged, will be inflicted with COTH for 1d4 hours.

Actions

COTH EffectThe COTH effect can only be inflicted onto organic matter. If a creature with COTH dies, they will become an assimilated creature, fighting for the SRP-74 parasite. COTH is a contagious effect and is spread when an inflicted creature harms another creature. It can also be spread through bodily fluids.

Multiattack. The assimilated bear makes two different attacks.

Lunge. The assimilated bear lunges up to 12 feet.

Bite. The assimilated bear attempts to bite a single target. If successful, the target will take 10d6 Piercing damage.

Tendrils. The assimilated bear uses its front tendrils to attack a single target. If successful, the target will take 3d20 Bludgeoning damage.

Reactions

SRP-74 Host. Upon death, the assimilated bear will release a large amount of clear gas. Any organic being that breathes in the gas will be inflicted with COTH for 1d12 hours. This is not considered an attack.

Description

Infection. SRP-74 is a parasitic infection from the modded dimension [MC_ScapeRunParasites_74], The 74th dimension MC dimension to have this category of parasites. The 3 most common symptoms of SRP-74 are black tendrils extending from the host, large pockets of liquid under the host's skin, and several gruesome mutations for attacking.

Appearance. An assimilated bear looks like the species of bear it was before being assimilated, just with several severe mutations. The changes in appearance from a normal bear are listed below.

  • Mouth. The mouth of the assimilated bear is significantly larger, appearing as a horizontal split down the front half of the body. Inside the mouth, sharp 3-5 inch teeth line the sides, with over 200 teeth in total. All of the teeth are jagged and angled slightly outwards. The flesh around the mouth is exposed.
  • Front Tendrils. At the knee of the front legs, large black tendrils appear to be bursting out of the legs, completely replacing the bottom half of the legs. The area in which the knee would be is exposed flesh, which the tendrils are extending out of. Each leg has one tendril, with the tendril splitting into two tendrils, each one being as thick as an actual bear's leg. The length of the tendrils is twice that of the top half of the bear's front legs. These tendrils act as the assimilated bear's front legs and claws.
  • Eyes. The eyes of the assimilated bear are completely black.

Assimilated Tier

Assimilated parasites are organic creatures that were infected and mutated by the SRP-74 parasite. Assimilated creatures have no memories and are mindless parasites, whos only purpose is to infect and kill.

Evolution. If an assimilated creature kills 20 organic creatures, other assimilated will group up with it. Once 5 assimilated, including the one with 20 kills, are grouped together outside of combat, they will begin melting. The masses of melted flesh will merge into a single large mass of flesh. During the next few moments, the large flesh mass will transform into a Primitive Parasite.

There are several Primitive Parasites, each with their own page.
